Laparoscopic Rectopexy

Laparoscopic rectopexy is one of the surgeries to repair rectal prolapse. During this surgery, the rectum is returned to its normal position in the pelvis so that it no longer protrudes from the anus. Sutures are typically used to secure the rectum, often in conjunction with mesh.
